Question

what is a good CorelDraw substitute?

I am a monkey. Along with normal monkey things, I like to make logos with text added to basic shapes. An emaciated CorelDraw--that's far less expensive--would do just fine. (Heck, ms Word minus the primate-infuriating clipboard would work for me) Any recommendations?
