WHAT is a dedicated system?

I tried to install software on my PC and got the message "This software can only be installed on a designated system". No one has been able to tell me what that means. What is a designated system? I can't believe that there are no IT professionals out there who know what that is. It's driving me nuts, because I just spent $150 on it so I'd like to know if there's something I can do to fix this issue or not before my time limit to return the software runs out.

I can guess this is about some Turtle Beach software but you didn't tell that or a "quoted error message."

My advice is to call its maker and make better posts.

Hi

In reply to: WHAT is a dedicated system?

I posted all of the information in detail already, but it seemed to throw people off, so I decided to go simple and just ask if anyone knows what a dedicated system is. Then I can start from the ground up.

I don't see this information in this discussion.

In reply to: Hi

A new thread discussion starts with a clean slate and only what's in the thread. I'm only guessing this has to do with some other discussion.

-> Call the maker and make complete posts.

Please.

A dedicated system...

In reply to: Hi

can be the same or different than a designated system. Your Subject mentions one and the body mentions another.

SPECIFIC info such as Bob requested helps avoid leading one down a primrose path to nowhere.

Try a little detail such as WHAT SOFTWARE on WHAT OS and EXACT error messages.
