What I want for Christmas

Dec 6, 2019 1:10PM PST

This Dad wants some CNN ear plugs, so when I see them on TV, at doctor's office, airport, mall, anywhere, I can reach in my pocket and put them in.

THEN "This Dad" will be deaf AND blind to what is going on around him?

Devil

Perhaps DJT will let "This dad" fly on Air Force 1? Of course HE comments on CNN all the time. What's up with that? HE comments but doesn't listen/watch?

Then "This dad" would need DJT earplugs.

"This dad" jumps out of the frying pan into the fire?

AND don't buy/be near a Smart TV?

FBI warning: protect yourself from your new smart TV

"We’re just now starting to appreciate that these devices first of all, capture a lot more - and a lot more information from the environment - than the device makers originally told us," said York University assistant professor Natasha Tusikov, noting that information is often stored for much longer and shared with more third parties than people realize.

In addition to the possibility that companies may be listening, watching, and gathering sensitive information, smart devices such as a television can also make your internet vulnerable, the FBI said.

“A bad cyber actor may not be able to access your locked-down computer directly, but it is possible that your unsecured TV can give him or her an easy way in the backdoor through your router,” the FBI said.

At best, hackers can be annoying - say, taking over the channel control and maxing the volume on your television.

The anti-CNN blocking earplug weapon?

see no evil, hear no evil...what's next?.....Don't even THINK evil?

I've only been in a few airports and usually the sound doesn't travel far enough for most people to actually hear what is being said...Closed captioning or the crawler on the screen is the only way I knew what was being said.

It's come to pass not only on the Smart TV but Facebook and smart phones.

My solution? Play more Dwarf Fortress. (From XDCD)

I've been visiting Jigsaw Planet lately.

What do THEY know about me? ( That it takes me 40 minutes to do a puzzle someone else can do in 3 minutes?)

And WHY would they want to know that?

All good questions.

And would take hours to get into all that.

They may not care about you specifically but if like FaceBook you collect information about them and slowly know they are a swing voter and that's what they are after.

Again, stop using FaceBook and Google for logins.
