Question

What HDD drive for UE40D6530?

by tKoudy / July 21, 2011 10:05 PM PDT

Hi, please, can anyone recommend what HDD should I buy for Samsung UE40D6530? I know there is some compatibility list here, but I didn't find my TV on it, not even some similar. Does anyone have this model?<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">

First of all, thank you for your reply.
But.. Are you sure about that? Because I've read lot of experiences that some brands doesn't work or doesn't work well
or that 3,5" works better than 2,5" without extra power suply.. I'm a bit confused and I'd appreciate if someone could say "I've got this HDD with this TV and works great, buy it!".. I mean, I'd like to be sure before I'll buy it.

If someone thinks there will be a list published they may have to wait a very long time.

"Most" drives work. There is a discussion at the top of this forum about drives and Samsung.

Thank you for your answers, I just want to say that I forgot to mention that I want the HDD for recording. I know some HDD have problems with some kind of speed test, which Samsung performs after formatting...

But thank you anyway.
