Question

What has happened to my desktop computer ?

Aug 23, 2018 6:08AM PDT

I use Google Chrome for all my needs. This morning I went straight to my email and all I see is a blank page. Went to Facebook and basically same thing, except that I can see only text, (words and sentences) No pics, graphics or video. Already done scans with Avast, Advanced System Care Pro and Malware. Even tried system restore, no help there either. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that has affected the way my PC is acting. The only thing I done yesterday that was all together different, was closing Google and opening Microsoft Edge browser. I proceeded to a game site, (Mindjolt), to try a few old games. There, it asked to install flash and I clicked on "allow only once". Only played one game and cleared history and shut down my computer. I had noticed this morning that my browser had changed to Microsoft explorer, which I changed back to Google! What on earth have I done ??? Someone please help me get it right again!! Is there someone out there to help walk me through this ???
