What happenned to my start menu?

I have a reasonably new laptop. Toshiba with windows 7.

I just downloaded I tunes. Now when I click on my start menu the only item showing is " I-tunes". The rest of the menu is there but I have to select "All Programs" to view it.

I have tried several things and can't seem to get my menu back properly. Ideas?

Windows 7 introduced a dyanmic on the fly changes in your face start menu. You can "pin to Start Menu" items you want there but if you don't they fall off the menu over time.
