Question

What gpu would you chose?

Aug 5, 2018 10:16PM PDT

So i need a gpu. Because of the priceses, i'll get a second hand one. Initially i wanted the gtx 1050 ti, but i found the gtx 970 which performs way better for the same price. I also wanted to buy a gtx 1060, but only the 3 gb version is close in price to the other two. The thing is i'm willing to pay the extra buck for the 6 gb version to have it for the long run, but the true question is if it is worth buying now. I read on some websites that the new nvidia generation will be released this month. And I don't want to pay extra money on a gpu and than get like a 20% decrease in value after i just bought it. So should i wait?

The gtx 970 will give you better perf over the gtx 1050 ti but it's also double the watts so make sure you have a psu that can handle it.
