What gaming laptop is best?

by Nicknackems94 / June 10, 2014 2:05 PM PDT

I have just sold my MacBook Pro so I can purchase a gaming laptop. Not a desktop.
I have been doing plenty of research on the best ones to get and have come to the conclusion that Alienware and ASUS are among the top contenders. I have been looking mostly at the Alienware 17, and the ASUS ROG G750JM-DS71 17.3-inch (Or something similar to that model, I know there's a lot).
They both run for around $1,500, they seem to have the same processor type and speed (3.4GHZ), almost the same amount of RAM, but I just want to know which one is the better buy.
Any users of either of these computers or tech experts that could give me any advice?
Please and thank you.

P.S. If anyone knows a better place to buy either of these other than Amazon, eBay, etc that would be very helpful as well.

It's nice and all but no matter which you get, be sure to get some cans of air to do a monthly on the vents to keep it cool. A cooling pad, even a passive one is best. We got it on Amazon. For alienware I just head to dell.

Important things you should know

Do you know the factors to look for in gaming laptops ? Well, starting while using processor, a good gaming laptop that is $ 1000 will produce a dual core or perhaps a quad core processor. This may function as the Core i5 or even i7 faster. Each is good choices and continue to play very well and all of the programs can run easily.

The amount connected with system memory that determines how well everything run. You must ensure that your gaming laptop is equipped with at least four GB of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY. Some have at the very least 8 GB, but you must understand that 4GB is the lowest limit and you should not even think about buying a laptop with a smaller system ram.

Next on the list is the graphics card. Standard laptops are "integrated" standard GPU. This widespread work with is RAM and scaling down the system in the event the graphics power is needed. The best gaming laptops carry a dedicated graphics card. This is due to dedicated graphics cards have their own ram, so you don't have to remove the RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY and you will find the system run better.

The screen is also an important factor. The screen size not just determines how you see, but also resolutions that could be seen. Supported resolutions can vary a lot over for the same screen size. Some manufacturers create screens with higher pixel greater than the others. It common to find standerd 15. 4inch laptop that could work in Full HD 1080p.
