What does this message mean?

by mgorenstein / October 10, 2009 12:05 PM PDT

I'm trying to enter grades in my online grade book program and every time I make an entry I get an error message saying "this.sortImage is null". When I click "enter" it goes away but entering grades takes twice as long. This only happens on my laptop, not on other computers so I know it's not a site problem. Please advise.

Try a different web browser..

This might solve it. Try a different web browser. I assume your using Internet Explorer of some version? If it still does it on a different browser, then that rules out the very likely possibility that this is some error concerning the browser.

Here are some different ones to try:

site not working at home but it works at work
by mgorenstein / October 11, 2009 10:24 AM PDT

Thank you for your reply. I tried two web browsers (internet explorer and mozilla firefox) and both have the same issues. It's weird because it works fine when I'm at school and it is a public internet site. Any other ideas and have you seen the error message before? I get the message on my laptop but not on my desktop.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
