What does the file tasiimg.exe do?

Nov 27, 2004 12:07PM PST

I have this file (tasiimg.exe) running on my desktop with Win2000. It is going wild... running so much that my computer has become very slow and makes using it a real chore! Fortunately, I have a laptop and can still use it but having my desktop 'locked' into this mode is quite frustrating.

I don't know that this is the actual problem but when I do a cntrl-alt & the taskmanager comes up it is going crazy. I don't have that file on my laptop but it has XP not 2000 on it.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should ask in the Virus forum, but do tell what scans and tools you use so they don't tell you to scan with Adaware, Spybot, Housecall. You can save one exhange...
