Now, what that really means is you are assigned a single IP address that is tied to whatever device you connect to their system, so you want to use a router to connect to it and use it's on MAC address, so you can have other devices connected by wire or wife and receiving an internal IP address from the router.
I will move to my University's campus in less than 2 weeks and in the contract is mentioned that I have only 1 Internet cable and I'm restricted to only 1 MAC Adress. What does that mean? Can I connect more than 2 computers,phones etc using a WiFi router with LAN outputs for my PC ? or I will be forced to use only my PC trough the cable.
