Macro is for extreme close ups as in flowers, insects, jewelry, etc. It is also nice for facial shots on babies.
Infinity is the setting you use when you are photgraphing something far away, such as a landscape or mountains.
Can some of you guys tell me what it means, I don't want to spend $320 on a camera and not use every ounce of it features.
