Question

What do you think of the following desktop? Please help me

Nov 30, 2015 3:19PM PST

Hello guys,

Since it is Cyber Monday, I want to buy a computer today since I have been using an old one for a while. I have been looking for deals for all this month.

I think I have narrowed it down to the following list but if anyone else has an idea or deal please let me know. If not, please which of the following would you buy? Thank you!
1. http://www.amazon.com/M32CD-Desktop-Windows-Keyboard-Mouse/dp/B014QVM2KO/ref=zg_bs_565098_1
2. http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Deskop-Core-Windows-90B700FNUS/dp/B014644FVA/ref=zg_bs_565098_6
3. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-desktop-amd-a8-series-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-natural-silver/4246800.p?id=1219712308322&skuId=4246800 (This one is AMD A8, is AMD bad?)
4. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-ideacentre-300s-desktop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black-gray/4471700.p?id=1219751163969&skuId=4471700

I have the ASUS at $329 and the Lenovo I found online on another website for this same exact price. Therefore it will not make a difference on the price. Only #3 (HP) is cheaper than the others, however it is AMD Is this bad? And #4 I like because it is i5 but why is it so cheap? Maybe it has something wrong. This will be the last time I bother, I just want to make sure I do not buy a bad one or a bad deal! Please give me your opinion.

Thank you so much I really appreciate it!

If size is not a factor and...

the Asus is $329 instead of $399, I would definitely pick the Asus...hands down.

Thank you

But the Lenovo #2 is also $329 it's just on Amazon they dont have a discount. All these prices revolve around the same area, and they are all below $350
For #4 do you know why it is so cheap when it is i5, 8GB and 1TB? It seems like a great deal. Thanks!

Ok, #1 and #4 both have i5 processor...

which is more powerful than #2 and #3. I didn't pick #4 because I couldn't find which i5 it has. I see they threw in a monitor in the deal which might make it a better deal?

#1 is i3

I think there was a misunderstanding. The link I put in has both i5 and i3 and I mean i3 for that one. For #4 the i5 is Intel 4th Generation but the speed is 2.9 ghz.
Thanks

I think you posted a few times.

You may have too many posts on the same list?

yes
Nov 30, 2015 8:22PM PST

yes I do not know how to delete them. I think maybe the #4 looks smaller too so maybe it is better

For desktops. Smaller is rarely better.

Less space for heat to get out, big troubles when you want to add a graphics card, etc.

So as a final...

so as a final choice now that you know #1 is i3 you would still advise me to pick that? Thanks a lot for all your helps

Here it comes up as an i5.

Then no sale.

I would not buy any desktop in micro form or less than the i5.

Just a comment

It's kind of tough to tell someone which of those two machines to buy.
Only you know what you do with the machine.
Only you know what the budget is.

For every day gp usage the i3 should be fine.
The i5 gives you more cpu and video muscle.
If the budget allows I'd go with the i5.
It's a bit more future proof.
