What do you think about mobile friendly websites?

I have a website related ............. and i am looking for what people feels comfortable about websites when surfing through cell phones or mobiles.

Are you concerned that people dislike internet sites that are optimized for use on their cell phones ? Why would anyone want to use a full HTML site on their cell phone that would be hard to read/navigate ?

Now a days, most of traffic comes under mobile traffic. So it is necessary to keep responsive web site and mobile friendly.

It's not a full page, but very narrow strip to put info on. Cut characters to 25-35 per line, control page width, all images be jpg and exact size needed instead of constrained. Practical display is appreciated more than attempts to impress, or don't have it look too busy.
