I do as little as possible. I defragment my disk drives every February 29th. I do not physically clean any of my PCs. I only open the case when I need to replace/add a component, maybe once every year or so. I do keep all my security/Anti Virus software up to date. I also keep my O/S up to date. My PCs reward my for my dilligence or lack thereof by working all the time. My oldest PC is a Dell XPSD300 was bought NOvember 1997 has been on 24/7 since then and except for a video card, I have had no failures. My laptop a Dell Inspiron 5000 bought spring 2000. ate a CD drive an needed a new keyboard after I spilled soda on it. It is not on 24/7
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
