Question

What difference would having a SSD added to

Nov 3, 2011 10:01AM PDT

my 9 month old computer make presently set up as follows;-
Asus P8P67 M/b
i5-2500k (not overclocked as yet)
8GB Kingston 1600 Mhz RAM DDR3
1Tb WDC WD HDD
ATI HD 5770
Plus the other ancillary parts.
In the passing I,m rather disappointed at the moment of the speed of loading pages from the internet. My connection speed is always more than 8 Gbs so if there is a problem its not with that. I,m thinking of a fairly small SDD (in memory terms). Any constructive comments would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Page load speed should be the same.

That's an internet issue or browser one.

However I am finding many machines with 7 installed but the owner is not installing the drivers. Most are taken aback that this is still required.

All drivers are up to date and I check this every month! I mainly use Firefox and never really open up IE.
Thanks anyway!
