What can you do to prevent burn in on plasmas?

I just want to know because in a year or two I might plan to pick up a plasma television.

tv's (especially flat panels) will be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. burn-ins WILL be a thing of the past. even right now, they have pixel shift, light sensors, white wash, and many other technologies in tv's to TRY to prevent burn in's. i'd definitely say, just stick with a good brand and dont go out at 3am on the day after thanksgiving to get a $500 plasma just because of the price.

For 500 dollars, I just might get up and buy that plasma. I have had my plasma for about a year and a half and have had no burn it problems. You do see some image retention sometimes when going from a menu to a very dark scene, but it fades rapidly. I think people worry too much about it. Just don't buy a plasma if you are going to use your game box on it 90% of the time.
