There are a lot of cameras.
The first question is always, how much are you willing to spend.
Here is a look at the best.

Hey all,
I know, that question is very generic.
What I am after is a bit of help with selecting a camera. I am new to looking at decent cameras and not quite sure what I am supposed to be concentrating on when out window shopping.
The main reasons behind wanting to get a camera is travelling (so wanting to capture really nice photos, with good depth and colour) and also sport (I will be using it to photograph futsal/indoor soccer games).
What I am looking for is a camera that can provide a slightly better than average photo, has snapshot feature where I can take multiple photos by holding down the capture button, and some pretty easy features that I can have a play around with and learn a bit more about photography.
I hope that I have described everything enough, if not just ask away.
I look forward to hearing some of the responses.
Thanks,
Dan
