DIY Lightbox
Jul 1, 2011 12:09AM PDT

I built one once. It worked very well. But the problem with a DIY box is that it is neither easily stored or durable. So spending $30-40 for a folding lightbox tent kit that also includes some lights and possibly a camera stand is not really that bad a deal.

I've made better too.

My point is that many over analyze and fret over what is a very simple thing. By making one you learn quickly what you want if you go to buy one.

And then we have that other issue that many will use it for a dozen or less objects a year.

Just sharing the options.
