If you dive into electronic repairs or read http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/captest.htm you soon discover that the LED is not an item we'll see fail for quite some time.
This item plus the five year flat ribbon cables mean that we should see few sets survive past five years without repair.

I just bought a new Samsung LED HDTV and I want to have it around for at least 10 years but I want the best picture quality.
Can someone please tell me what type of Calibration settings will decrease the lifespan of the T.V
ex: things like turning up the backlight etc.
