What outputs does the camcorder have?
What iinput does the Samsung have?

If no match, it won't work without converter (which is its own minefield). One of the disadvantages of an all-in-one and a laptop: not really expandable.

The Sony

DCR-HC52 is a miniDV tape based camcorder.

Camcorder off.
Connect the camcorder's DV port to the computer's fireiwre (DV/IEEE1394/i.Link) port with a firewire cable...

If the computer has no firewire port and no way to add one, either locate/use a computer that does (and save the imported video to an external drive that can be connected to your computer with a USB cable);

or

Use an analog/digital converter... connect the camcorder's AV-out to the A/D converter's AV inputs. Connect the AV converter to the computer... Elgato, Roxio, Black Magic Design and many others make these. Some as good, most not as good. The steps through analog and USB (compression) can reduce video quality.

Tablet for video

As far as I can see there is only a USB port for input so the AV solution may be the only option with this tablet. The fact is that tablet PCs are not designed for this sort of work - even laptops can prove difficult to connect to FireWire.

If you are serious about video then buy an (old fashioned) tower system. Mine initially came without a IEEE1394 connector but this was easily sorted with a FireWire card and a Driver. Now I can use my MiniDV or my SD card camcorders without any concerns about connections.

Another option. Buy a card based camcorder and use your SD card reader.
