Cheaper. Example. I needed an iPhone to test some app but not as my primary phone. I went refurb.

Buying refurbs from Apple directly also gives you warranty

It's another benefit, should you decide to purchase a refurb directly from Apple. A full year, new replacement screen & battery AFAIK.

Solely the price

You will get them at a way better price, but in most cases, refurbished phones are older models which soon enough will be pretty much outdated. Personally, I wouldn't opt for this.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
