....you are exaggerating a little. If the phone is out of warranty, how could you have 2 years left on a contract ?? Phone warranties last 12 months normally.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Rugby LTE and, after about 8 months, it started crashing, running very slow and when new software updates came out, it is unable to download the software update. I called Samsung a few months later while the phone was still under warranty and asked what they could do and they recommended I factory reset the phone. I did the factory reset and it worked for the better part of the week, at which point, the warranty expired. Now, when I call they say there is nothing they can do but recommend a location to get the phone services, at my own expense.
I am locked into this contract for another 2 years and I need the phone for work and it CRASHES ALL THE TIME!!! Samsung should not be selling these phones when they are unable to handle everyday usage and are unable to update the software. No sense of accountability and a complete disregard for customer service.
The icing on top is that Samsung just purchased and installed a 200 foot LCD TV display where I work and I have to look at it all day. A better sense of customer service will create an anomaly called LOYALTY. reinforcing the band in current customers is essential for repeat business. Throughout my experience with Samsung, I have failed to see this. I loved the phone, when it worked.
What are my options!?
