what a fantastic picture

Concorde has been making waves in New York - moving up the Hudson River on a barge.

Thousands of New Yorkers witnessed the spectacle as the British Airways jet was being taken to its new home.


The plane will be displayed at the Sea Air Space Museum on board former US aircraft carrier Intrepid, which is moored on the Hudson.

The demise of supersonic commercial aviation;

One small step for man. One giant leap "backward" for mankind.

I hope when my son is an adult (he's 9 now), I don't have to say I remember the days when you could cross the Atlantic in three hours and now it takes eight.
