Did you get it fixed yet??? What kind of phone is/was it?? If it can be taken apart 10-1 it can be fixed.

I can take it apart. When you plug in the charger, there is static, and nothing else.

I think it's time to give up on that device. Take it out back and shoot it.

See if there is insurance on it or if you can get insurance on it, if not last rites and bury it. Cremation also works, so long as there is a contained space remember only you can prevent forest fires

I am a moron. Being it is a flip phone it is more difficult to fix than a candy bar. The phone will work more than likely it is recoverable. You will need to find a local dealer that does repairs to fix it though, a flip is too difficult for a novice, and may cause mroe damage by taking it apart. Chances are all they need to do is open the puppy up and hit it with some isopropyl alcohol.

The sugar in the iced tea is all over the internal boards. It is interfereing with electronic signals but by the phone turning on and saying emergency download nothing is shot just messed up. Cleaning the contacts and the boards should fix it, might even work better than before. Are you anywhere in the NY market?
