Westinghouse 32'' LCD TV occasional misalignment on turn on

Feb 22, 2006 9:24AM PST

I just got a Westinghouse 32'' LCD TV and I have my computer hooked up to it via VGA and when I turn it on in the morning from it being off all night the screen is shifted to right. It's like unaligned. For example a browser at full screen I can't see the scroll bars until I reposition the screen. This happen occasionally when the LCD is turned off over a period of a few hours. It's very vexing. Anybody have this problem or can help? Thank in advance.

TV viewing is fine, DVD viewing is fine, it's just the VGA computer input that gets screwed from time to time. I can switch to TV back to PC and it will go away. Is this a defective product???

switch to TV back to PC and it will go away

I have 4 PCs hooked to one monitor through a KVM switch, sometimes when switching from PC to PC this will happen, I just switch back and forth and it goes away. I don't think that is a defect, just VGA sync problem. John
