On another machine it works on I'll back up the contents, then on the Windows 7 machine I'll head to disk management to remove all partitions, create a new partition and quick format it to NTFS. I'll safely eject then back to the other PC to put the files back on.
This happens monthly around the office so we don't think much of it but wish it never happened.

I am useing WD Hard drives for a while now and i just upgraded pc to a new Windows 7 machine x64 bit i have 4 external drives various sizes and i have 3 that show in explorer and i can use but the fourth will not show in explorer so i can see whats on it. i have check disk management and it show there but i cant do much with it. as far as i can tell it doesnt have a drive letter. as suggestions or answers?
