Best of luck.
I was DJing last night and all my music files are stored on a western digital my book 250gb drive. With all the wires I have in my set up I accidently hooked up my drive with my lap tops power supply box and noticed that the blue ring was not going circles (usually telling me there is any activity). I checked and my lap top was not detecting my drive. After noticing the cable mess up I switched it back and it still would just start up with no activity or detection. I turned it off and on, use different computers and different usb plugs and it still does the same thing so it has to be the drive. All it does is turn on, the light comes on, no noises or activity. Is the drives power supply messed up or any of its running gear? Or do I have to say its a total lost and do a data recovery? Thanks in advance. The drive is a year and half old.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
