Westell 6100 Problems.

I cannot connect to verizon dsl with my Westell 6100.
I have everything set-up how i believe it to be correct, and have entered my account and password info, and it says the connection has timed out. Can anyone help?

I thought their software was pretty good. All I can suggest here is follow the procedures and if it doesn't work, then talk with Verizon is your best bet. Good luck.

yes, my service ready yet was around a year ago, i activated my account, and i put that information in the properties for the connection, and it will not connect

i have called verizon in the past, and they were no help at all, my phone died on them, i just wanna get what im payin for

wall > Westell 6100 > wireless router(optional) > Wired/wireless

Also everything connected to the phone line, phones, answering machine, faxes, etc..., needs to have a dsl filter attached to if except the Westell 6100. You may share a dsl filter.

Wall > dsl filter > splitter > multiple devices

Try using this for logging in. They removed my password when they upgraded the firmware.

If you still cannot get in, if using Mozilla Firefox and NoScript, you must allow 192.168.1.1 to allow scripting. If you still cannot get in, try pressing and holding the reset button in the back for 30 seconds. This should reset the Westell 6100.
