were going to crash

lately no matter what programs i ran in the past to keep my system running good,now after 4.5 5 yrs its starting to go old on me and crash,i get a error code 2000-0146 or 2000-1046,i believe its the first and then says to contact a dell tech,now i know i don't because i know there is someone here in Cnet.com world that can tell me what is going on,thank you.

Can't say for certain, but at 4.5-5 years it seems reasonable that the HDD is starting to give out. If you could provide some additional detail it might help narrow it down a bit more.

i sometimes get a blue screen that was like built into the computer it says that the computer has shut down to keep from ruining your computer in all harm(thats not word for word) it says then there is an error 2000-0146 contact a dell tech and this might help them figure out the problem.of course my warranty is up,and the extended one i bought,so what is the problem,i ran software to seek any malware and everything else,and i ran disk defragmentation and haven''t had it yet,i'm just keeping my fingers crossed,but if you know please let me know what it may be

this is what i had after the crash this time i wrote it down "A problem has been detected and windows shut down to prevent damage to your computer"
