Question

Well, I have to ask about W10 . . .

Feb 25, 2020 2:41PM PST

I have two desktops and a laptop (all Lenovo/IBM high end) running W7 Pro. All installed fresh from the W7 disk. Lean and clean. I run Avast AV, Super Anti-Spyware, follow safe surfing, and have had zero problems. All three are home networked. All three are running like a top.

Is there any compelling reason why I should upgrade to W10? I have the links to do the MS upgrade, but am hesitating on doing it. I'm a firm believer of "If it ain't broke . . ."

Can someone convince me?

Win7 security updates are no more. The bad guys are already writing exploits for this.If you use Win7 on the web, you could get caught.

But at the office we moved everything to W10. It's been solid for us.

You have time to possibly get W10 as a free upgrade and work out the issues or drivers. If I can, I'll help along with others.

Or there's always Linux.
