Firefox is only slightly broken
Dec 1, 2005 9:42PM PST

I do not have all the problems you noted, but I am having problems with my bank site. I did not have this problem with FF1.07. I used the built in report broken site thingie. Let's see if it works.

Few problems, but overall...

I like it. I only have problems with the Yahoo! search bar (noted in another post), and Adblock. I seem to have to turn Adblock off to get some sites to work, while even with it on, it doesn't seem to block everything.

Hopefully both will come out with new versions soon.

To those of you who hate the new version, of any version of FF for that matter, remember this is free and not produced by paid programmers at a huge corp.

An update
Dec 5, 2005 11:20PM PST

An update to my problems.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Y! toolbar and it works completely. I also found an update to Adblock and that works fine too.

No it isn't... :)

Firefox works just fine, on my laptop, on two desktops AND the memory stick installation that I use for fun! Had it since Beta 2...ish, right around the time Tabbrowser extensions was updated for it, that and adblock are my only two MUST HAVE extensions. Others will get updates soon enough. The performance updates are REAL. And the automatic updates (a la windowsupdate) are very welcome. No more downloading the file all over again, just a couple of hundred KB, usually, for updates.

PS And for those of you who don't know, Firefox RC3 IS the final. The file was just renamed, there is no difference in the build numbers.

PPS Methinks that this is just a troll.. so booooooo!

I love the new Firefox

I don't know if anyone else had this problem with earlier versions, but, a lot of times if I would have Firefox minimized for long periods, the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder would disappear. Since using RC1 for FF1.5, this seems to have been corrected.

yes, I've had that problem

... with the bookmarks toolbar disappearing. I haven't had 1.5 long enough to know if it's fixed, but I hope you're right.

I'm having buggy internet, and I don't know if it's Firefox. I don't think so, because it's affected my email at times too. Sort of on again, off again, here again, gone again, very annoying. I can't tell if it's my ISP or my wireless router or maybe Time Warner is downgrading me for having internet phone from another provider (just kidding, really).

Can't say I have, though...

I have no toolbars whatsoever... Happy
I only have the address bar toolbar, but even that is pared down to just one button - recent closed tabs. the rest is the address field and the search field. All direction is by mouse gestures.
