General discussion

Welcome to the Photo & Video Weekly forum

Welcome to the discussion forum for our Photo & Video Weekly newsletter. I'm Lori Grunin; my compatriots Aimee Baldridge, Rebecca Viksnins, and I handle all of CNET's digital imaging coverage, plus serve as moderators for this forum.

The P&V newsletter is a weekly wrap-up of all of CNET?s coverage of digital imaging technology from digital cameras to camcorders to printers and scanners. It is chock full of the latest reviews, features, columns, and expert advice. Hopefully you already subscribe.

The purpose of the forum is to let subscribers pose questions to us about a wide range of technology issues for digital imaging. No question is too big--or too small--so go ahead and ask us. We'll then tackle your questions in the "Ask the experts" section of the weekly newsletter, as well as address the most important ones in our columns.

Of course, if you have general comments/questions regarding the newsletter, or our digital imaging coverage, feel free to post them here as well. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Samsung SCD6550 DuoCam

Lori

Hopefully this is the correct forum to ask this question. Basically what I want to know is, are there any other decent choices besides the Samsung SCD6550 DuoCam for a dual purpose under $600? Thanks.
