welcome screen login problem....logs in then out instantly

by towerstud / January 6, 2009 8:55 AM PST

I was updating Spybot today, then ran the new version without rebooting as suggested. After a 55 min search, it found multiple items which I clicked to fix. During the restore point feature, it kind of hung up and then finally asked if I wanted the items fixed. I clicked yes.... Then, multiple error messages kept coming up. I finally decided to reboot. Not sure if this has anything to do with my "new" issue, which is at the welcome screen, the computer logs in and instantly saves settings and logs out. I can't get into my desktop. I tried in safe mode and it does the same thing???? Please help!!!

Ouch. Sounds like the old corrupt profile issue.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
