Welcome to the forum for CNET to the Rescue, a new CNET feature where we (well, mostly me: Rafe) try to look out for your rights as a consumer of technology, try to help you save money, and in general do what we can to keep tech vendors honest.
If you've got an issue, let's talk about it. If you have a question about a misleading advertisement or what looks like an anti-consumer policy foisted on you by a vendor or retailer, let us know. I'll be participating here with CNET readers to get problems solved, and I'll take the biggest and thorniest issues and rattle vendors' cages to get necessary changes made.
Please note that this isn't a forum for general tech support issues. We have a General Help forums for that. But if you feel you've been wronged by a vendor's policy, and getting your issue resolved would also help other people, let's get into it here.
Welcome to CNET to the Rescue!
