The issue is simple, once someone tells you the issue. To cut off SPAMMERS, you may only use your ISP's SMTP server when you are on their networks.
Okay, I changed to an IBM Thinkpad, Windows XP. I can send/receive mail through my network at the office and on my dial up at home. However, when I use my hi speed modem, I can only get incoming mail, cannot send. The error message is always the same, timed out waiting for SMTP server.
The wierd thing is, when I run the test on set up, it works fine and it works on my dial up and at the office. ANy ideas? (My ISP is useless, I was on with them for 2 hours about this problem, explained it 20 times, and eventually they said they had no idea what the problem was.
