Question

WEGA KDF-46E2000

Dec 11, 2011 1:09AM PST

I have a KDF-46E2000 (5 years old w/maybe 3000-5000 hours) and the power keeps cycling. TV comes on and works fine for about 10 minutes then resets. The Power LED flashes in the normal "coming on" mode, the set comes on and everything is again fine for 10 minutes. Cooling fan behind lamp is working. I pulled the lamp and blew everything with a compressor. Have not cracked the case.
Thanks. Mike

Is that repairs can run as much as replacement so get a quote. If you are willing to risk life and limb and take all responsibility in one last hurrah, google BAD CAPS so you know what they look like and then inspect all of them.

Good luck,
Bob
