What do you mean with a 'freezing website page'. They are rather static generally. And if anything responds, it's certainly not a page.
Most browser issues (especially if you use Internet Explorer - please tell which version of which one you use) are related to spyware or add-ons. If you've got IE7 you can get a list of all add-ons via the menu bar: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883256. Please post what you have.
Also please tell about your protection against malware. And details of your internet connection (dial-up, cable, ADSL?). And if other Internet applications (like email or a new browser instance) keep working.
