Question

Website loading problem

Apr 28, 2017 11:02AM PDT

Computer/ Internet novice here. Can’t get topic pages to load on a forum site. Only happens on the one site & when signed in, can lurk just fine, get “Can’t find”, or “SQL error messages, from that website. Site owner says I must have a virus? All other Internet activity works perfectly. Have done numerous full system scans with Norton, Kapersky, & Microsoft, with nothing found. Have Windows 10 PC on DSL, both wired & wireless. Same problem on 3 other computers, & an IPAD on cell connection. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks.

Answer
I disagree. SQL failures are completely their issue.

I've seen folk break their machines when the site is broken.

It's also unlikely that all your PCs, tablets are broken.

-> UNLESS you are dealing with a site that is GEO LOCKED.

Yes, as his site is the only one to block me & only when signed in, & the site owner & I having
opposing political positions, leads me to believe his site is the problem, although he denies he is blocking me. Everything worked fine until he told me to "Just go somewhere else". Although he did plant a seed of doubt in my mind about my computer having something wrong with it.
