Website Editing software-novice

Jul 15, 2012 3:19PM PDT

I am a novice who has been using an older version of contribute to make basic text and graphic changes to a couple of websites that I help out with. Lately contribute is not allowing me to access the sites to make edits and changes. I am looking for a new piece of software that is reasonably priced that will allow me easy access to make those changes.

It could be an issue of the web host.

Many of the hosts now supply simple FTP uploading so are you sure you need to change that software? That is, after all this time, have you learned to edit the site on your local copy then upload that to the web site?
