I purchased Webroot Spyware services and Trend Micro PCcillin virus protection software based on favorable recomendations from CNET. Neither company is customer oriented! I have uninstalled both software packages even though I have time left on both subscriptions.
After updating with microsoft service packs both Webroot and PCcillin activity caused my computer to lockup. Neither company bothered to tell me via their inadequate technical support teams, that frequent lockup's are encountered after a service pack update. I have left multiple phone messages to Webroot's customer service manager which have gone unanswered. PCcillin client support actually sent me a proceedure that left the program inoperable when I could not complete the complicated proceedure. Both companies customer support personnell have indicated additional problems are frequently encountered when clients use both Webroot for spyware and PCcillin for virus protection. These difficulties are not ever discussed before installation and payment. Hope this helps someone.
