Webpage fonts

is it ever a good idea to set several fonts for a given written aspect of a page, so the page will still look nice if people dont have the same fonts i used to design the page

You can always have the headlines, titles and such in different fonts, but it would be much more effective if you made them as a graphic. That way no matter who's accessing, they will see it the way you designed it - just not as text, as a graphic with the text on it.
