webcam firewall

all of a sudden i cant send or receive webcams message comes up " sorry you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently unable to use the yahoo webcam service" how and where do i disable this firewall, this has never happened to me before. and please if you can help me send me step by step instructions to annann400@yahoo.com thank you.

Whenever posting questions on these forums, please give us as much information as possible about your computer. Depending on your issue, we might need the operating system, processor speed, amount of RAM installed, brand name of the computer, (if there is one), and any EXACT error messages you are receiving, and any other information you might think would help. The more information you give us, the better informed our answer will be.

First, it's not wise to post your e-mail address on any forum, unless your ready to take the consequences of receiving SPAM and viruses from "harvesters". Next, since forum users may be interested in this subject, it's best to post answers/suggestions in the fourm itself.

In the meantime, if you happen to be using Windows XP, disable the Internet Connection Firewall like this:
