Web site appears on it's own

Hi,

I frequent a gaming, (poker), web site. They are a"log on log off" password protected site. Yesterday I had signed up for a game several hours in the future. I was doing other things & forgot it was time for the game to start. While surfing, this site "popped up".

I thought maybe I did not log out & that was the reason. Today I thought I would do the same thing, but be sure I was not "logged in". Well, when it was time for it to start, I was on another site, but the gaming site again "popped up".

How is this possible?

I am not sure this is the forum for this question, but since I have cable, thought I would give it a try.

several hours.. you get a cookies in your pc, so you won't have to sign up again and again .. and that cookies can contain anything Bad or Good things, certainly one of them is a reminder, that you have sign up and want to play...

try to delete the cookies.. IE, Tools, Internet Options, delete cookies..
