Here it just works. I think I remembered to configure the firewall.
Sorry, with all the IIS security issues and the work needed to lock it up, I can't help on that one since I haven't done IIS in about 2 years.
Bob
I installed XP SP2 before some months.
Before that both IIS and apache worked fine.
However now none of them work properly.
IIS problem:
When I tried to start it it did not start so I uninstalled it but now I cannot reinstall it, because all the files are missing, so it asks sp2 cd. I integrated sp2 files to original XP cd in a folder (according to Microsoft KB: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=894351) but it does not accept it (!).
Apache problem:
Apache seems to load and run properly but when I type http://localhost/ in my browser NOTHING happens!!!
It loads... and loads... FOREVER!
When I telnet localhost 80, it connects but when I write a HTTP request I never get response.
Thank you ![]()
