- Online scan from panda, housecall

as mentioned in http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0.html?forumID=32&threadID=105693&messageID=1209474&tag=
Also try an online scan from www.bitdefender.com. I've good experiences with them also.
And, still, it's not sure you find it. Then find out about highjackthis and its support forums.

I have a problem that I can't seem to find a solution for. It is similar to pop-ups, only worse: It is entire web pages/sites opening. everything dorm search engines, to spyware and maitnenance offers, to the usual dumb stuff like casion gambling dating etc. I think you get the picture. As well I have had numerous software programs (related to the above mention websites) installing themselves on my computer.
I am using WIN 98SE Pentium III.
I have both IE6.0 and Mozilla Firefox installed on my computer. (I switched to Firefox on the advice of a friend, in the hopes that would help, but it didn't)
I have even switched ISP servers, still the same.
I have AVG installed for virus protection and run spy-Bot S&D to weed out unwanted spyware. I installed pop-up blocker software, and have tried the various toolbars that include pop-up blockers. And still the problem persists.
Does anyy one have the answer for this problem?
