Web page http://www.airwis.com/ will not run on my PC with win 98 SE. Gateway PIII 550 win 98 SE 128 M Ram. Have loaded all updates from windows update.com. The site seems to run ok on other PCs with win 98 and runs on my laptop with windows XP. What is up? Can anyone help? The main text of the page loads but none of the buttons on the left side have text and they can not can be "clicked".

Web page http://www.airwis.com/ uses JAVA.

It's not from Microsoft any more. Try the SUN JAVA and if someone mentions an outside source for MS JAVA, I'll warn you about the issue that MS JAVA is not patched anymore. Look up the BYTE VERIFY EXPLOIT at www.google.com to learn why I will not show anyone how to install MS JAVA.

Sun did a new release of their Java SRE (Standard Runtime Environment), which you can download and save as a start point for any reinstalls. Caveat, turn OFF the console option once installed, it's a damn nuisance!

No issues here, fast easy site!

Same spec as yours mostly, just swop "Gateway PIII", for AMD Duron 1.3. No trouble at all, and the site is fast. I also only have the standard Windows VM installed, not Sun Java. I suggest it is more a browser issue, than your OS. Maybe check the settings?

What do you see?

The article [Q169522] explains that when using IE to view a Web page, a blank page may be displayed instead of a defined set of frames. If you right-click an empty area of the Web page and then click View Source, or if you right-click an empty area of the Web page, click Properties, and then click Analyze, a page will be rendered reflecting errors.

Just wondering what type of indication you get?

Have loaded all updates from windows update.com.

1. The article [Q325192] discusses and describes know issues that may occur after installing certain Updates to Internet Explorer or Windows. Please review the content of this article to see whether the described issue you've reported could be linked to anything there.

2. Access the "Windows Update site", click the item, "View installation history" in the left frame, to ascertain your system update information.
