Web Marks Bookmarks Program Stopped Working

May 3, 2005 1:59PM PDT

I am running win-xp-he OS, and use IE ver 6.0 as my browser. I have been running Barnstormer Software's WebMarks for years without any problem. Yesterday when I used it to select a web site, it opened NotePad along with a pop-up message "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect". Although the program is not approved for XP, I have run it on this OS for two years - I have a second computer running XP OS and WebMarks stills is working OK. I tried restoring my PC to an earlier time (48 hours), but the problem still is there. I have run SpyWare Doctor, Search & Destroy, and SpySweeper to check for Spyware, but found nothing. Other internet programs are working ok. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ray Savage
