There are millions of resources out there, and the fact is, that there is no one place for me that teaches me, or gives me all the great utilities I'm looking for. A lot of websites attempt that, and may do great at first, but then they just get loaded with garbage... more content than is actually useful. I get different things from here and there, many many websites. Also, having a topic with just links and general information opens the door for advertising. I think instead of posting links to a website, it's actually better to come with a specific question or problem that you encounter, because then CNET users and moderators can strategically target a solution, and hopefully come up with something that works for you, from which others may benefit.

hey, I thought it was a good idea to ask people, for one "place" or "thing" they find really useful for web design stuff...
So just post something like:
"http://alistapart.com/ is a great web site for web designers" or something like that...that could help some other designers.
I think everybody should check out the boagwold.com podcast which you can find in itunes or at http://www.boagwold.com, it is really great and it doesnt matter if you are a beginer or an advanced designer.
