by rameshbabu.a@gmail.com / December 10, 2011 8:55 AM PST

Is there a web browser app for the UN46D6050TFXZA model? Are there any chances of getting it in near future since the high end models recently got one?

The last time I read this question they have not been going back to add such. HDTVs are not like PCs. Often the CPU+RAM is scaled down and does not have extra space or power to hold another feature.

rameshbabu.a,

From the available information, the D6050 will not offer the Web Browser at this time. The Browser will only be available on the D6300 and the D6900 and higher LED TVs and the D8000 Plasma TV. Unfortunately, I currently do not have any information on when the Browser will be added, if at all, to the 2011 and earlier models that do not offer this feature.
